Danish CS:GO in-game leader Finn “Karrigan” Andersen could be leaving FaZe Clan for pastures new, if another team can meet the player’s buyout price.
And it appears that it could be quite a price that has to be met, with reports suggesting that it’s set at $150,000. Whilst this might seem steep, other names have exceeded this amount in the past, including Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire who had individual buyouts of $800,000, whilst Nikola “NiKo” Kovac’s buyout from Mouz was around $500,000.
There are a number of teams who could acquire his services, though it looks as if Team Envy are the frontrunners at the moment, which would see Karrigan teaming with Josh “jdm” Marzano, Noah “Nifty” Francis, Steven “reltuC” Cutler, and Taylor “Drone” Johnson. Karrigan had previously parted with Envy following their failure to qualify for IEM Sydney. Meanwhile, other teams such as OpTic Gaming and Mousesports are also on the radar as teams that Karrigan could join.
Karringan’s time with Envy lasted for a matter of weeks, after being benched back in december. The in-game leader had lead the team to a third place finish at the Americas Major, though two straight losses meant they missed out on a qualifying place in the IEM Katowice Major.
