CS:GO: Tarik To Be Traded To NRG?

Following NRG’s 16th place finish in the New Legends Stage, NRG look to be searching for a swap deal with Jacob ‘FugLy’ Medina for Made in Brazil’s Tarik. The inactive member, who was substituted to the bench for MIBR in recent months, could be traded for FugLy, who fell short of making an impact in Katowice.

Despite performing better than the likes of Damien ‘daps’ Steele and Tsvetelin ‘CeRq’ Dimitrov statistically, FugLy is likely the player to be swapped out given that daps is the in-game leader, whilst CeRq is considered to be one of the team’s star players. There is little doubt that Tarik is on the radar as a talented player that would be an asset for a number of teams, given his performances with Cloud9 last year.

At the time of writing this, the swap deal is yet to be confirmed, though if it does come together it will be interesting to see how Tarik adapts in a more active environment, having spent the past couple of months benched. His last appearance in an official capacity was back in December. Having been a key component in Cloud9 winning the 2018 ELEAGUE Boston Major, his talent and experience is bound to reach the surface going forward.
