Virtus.pro recently announced that they would be ceasing competition with their CS:GO lineup following a string of poor results, including their exit from the European Minor Closed Qualifier. However, the Russian organisation are looking to the process of rebuilding, by acquiring the services of Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski, whilst restructuring the team around Michal “snatchie” Rudzki and Michał “MICHU” Müller, according to sources.
How the team intends to rebuild with the remaining vacancies has yet to be determined, but Virtus.pro are hoping to field a full Polish roster going forward. The transfer of TOAO would be a step in the right direction, with the player being inactive with AGO Esports and spending time with the active lineup for over a year. TOAO’s most recognised finish in the time spent with AGO was coming face to face with fellow Polish opposition Team Kinguin, who competed against one another in a memorable semi-final in September.
Michal “snatchie” Rudzki, Michał “MICHU” Müller and Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski make up the rebuilt roster for Virtus.pro if sources close to the organisation and the report from VPEsports are to be believed, and would provide a positive and quick turnaround after the recent announcement of the former lineup shutting down.
