Germany-based eSports team BIG has announced the signing of Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dortkadres, who will be joining up with the CS:GO team going into the 2019. The Turkish star will be moving on from Space Soldiers, with the player who he will be replacing yet to be announced.
XANTARES took to Twitter to let his fans know the reasons as to why he is Germany bound, which appears to be a mixture of both team issues and the desire to reach new heights in his CS:GO career. “To be able to play with my new team I’ll move to Germany,” XANTARES stated. “I know I’m leaving my family, my loved ones and my fans behind, but that’s something I need to do to be able achieve the individual success I’ve been striving for.”
Fatih “gob b” Dayik, Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz, Johannes “nex” Maget, Tizian Feldbusch, and Owen “smooya” Butterfield and amongst the players that XANTARES will be linking up with, and we are expecting to hear soon exactly who he will be replacing. It’s certainly a big transition for the player, especially with moving country, but it looks to be a step in the right direction towards what will be a prosperous Counter-Strike career.
