Fans of Fnatic now have a new way to connect with the team after they announced that they will be partnering with Worldwide Asset Exchange at a recent live fan event, which offers them the opportunity to get their hands on both physical and virtual items. Some may recognise WAX from other licensed products that they offer, such as stickers made for the likes of Mock-It Esports and football team Manchester City.
Fnatic’s League of Legends team made an appearance at the ‘League in Action – Live’ to promote the LEC season, and the event saw the partnership come to fruition with WAX stating that the reason for doing so was to gift authentic digital collectables and branded physical merchandise to global eSports fans in real-time during a live stream event this Sunday.”
Also on show have been a number of physical items, which included mice and keyboards, jackets, and even custom Air Jordan sneakers branded by Fnatic. As far as digital items are concerned, these come in the form of digital stickers that can be exchanged with a number of platforms, whilst physical merch gives out digital tokens to be traded through WAX, and can be ‘cashed out’ to have the item shipped out.
