Jake “Stewie2K” Yip Could Be Heading to Team Liquid

The latest eSports transfer rumblings suggest that Team Liquid are looking to swap out head coach Wilton “zews” Prado and rifler Epitácio “TACO” de Melo in the hopes for acquiring Jake “Stewie2K” Yip from MIBR.

Sources close to the team suggest that MIBR are looking to restore an all-Brazilian line-up by trading Tarik “tarik” Celik, which would see TACO and zews lining up alongside their former teammates with Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Fernando “fer” Alvarenga and Marcelo “coldzera” David.

On the subject of MIBR rumours, according to a report by VP Esports, Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe may also being making a surprising return to the team. This comes after the controversial actions of the player with DreamHack Montreal, as well as construed homophobic comments being made that followed resulted in the player being kicked by parent company Immortals.

The latter incident involved a Twitter spat with Duncan “Thorin” Shields, who had made a remark about the room quality for Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo. The incident that led to him being removed by Immortals was based on comments made with Pujan “FNS” Mehta, and also participating in the EPICENTER qualifiers as the player was swapped out with Rafael “zakk” Fernandes, leading to a 2-1 victory.

I look forward to seeing Stewie in a new team. If Stewie goes liquid, guess i’m a Liquid fan!
