The stage is now set for tomorrow’s FACEIT CS:GO Major 2018 Grand Final, with Natus Vincere set to go head-to-head with Astralis.
Both teams took a clean sweep of their respective opponents, MIBR and Team Liquid, to make it through to the final at the SSE Arena in Wembley. Natus Vincere put on an unstoppable display, as they dominated MIBR on both Overpass and Dust2. Despite their opponents best efforts, particularly in the first the game, Na’Vi were simply too much for their Counter-Strike counterparts on this occasion.
Facing Na’Vi will be Astralis, who have been more than impressive throughout the tournament, especially in the latter stages. The Danes brushed aside Team Liquid on both Nuke and Mirage, winning 7-16 and 8-16 for an overall 2-0 win to set up a meeting with Na’Vi tomorrow. With both teams on such an impressive roll so far, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top this Sunday.
The finals will take place at 17:10 UTC, and if you’re looking for a place to watch them, there are plenty of ways to do so. Perhaps most noteworthy, the action is being shown by Sky Sports, giving the competition some mainstream (and well deserved) coverage. Meanwhile, you can also tune in via the official FACEIT Major website, or on the official Twitch channel.
