Rocket League – Tainted Minds Seal OCE Series Win With Overtime Goal

Tainted Minds have secured a place in the RLCS (Rocket League Championship Series) after a dramatic win over the Chiefs at today’s OCE Series championship.

The Chiefs, who had already punched their ticket to RLCS, were edged out in the Grand Finals series by a startling performance from Tainted Minds. Leading the match 3-2 in the best-of-five series, the eventual winners were taken into overtime after it finished 3-3 in normal time. After such an intense game, it was only fitting that something special would end it, and that’s exactly what happened as an incredible aerial pass from Express set up Shadey to nod the ball home into the top corner to mark an emphatic win.

Check out the pivotal moment in the video below, courtesy of Throwdown’s Twitter feed where you can find a number of highlights that are well worth a watch if you haven’t done so already.

As with yesterday’s PUBG OCE Series, the Rocket League rendition of the competition also gives both pro and semi-pro teams an opportunity to pick up a cash prize as well as represent themselves on a global stage.

Be sure to keep an eye on the schedule for all things RLCS related on their official website.
