Bethesda’s first foray into online multiplayer in the Fallout world is due to release in just a month – but will it live up to the hype? A mere five months ago, Bethesda creative director Todd Howard stood on stage at E3 and announced the next iteration of the Fallout universe – with just six months to wait until the release on PC, Xbox One and PS4, no less.
Players of online games nowadays have a lot to worry about. From figuring out how to fork out the expenses needed for upgrading their new gaming rig to infighting between gamers, there is a lot to think about. But, there’s one problem that’s even worse than having to install multiple store-clients (Blizzard, Steam, Origin).
In a way we’re a very lucky generation. We’ve already seen 3 distinct eras in the gaming industry. We’ve seen at least 3 different generations of consoles. We’re fortunate that game developers are courteous enough to re-master some of our favorite childhood games, and present them in a way that fulfills our desire of playing these classic games in the highest settings and sharpest graphics possible while enjoying a dash of nostalgia simultaneously.
