The annual Legion of Champions competition came to a close recently, with the LOC III 2019 tournament culminating in a showdown in Bangkok, Thailand seeing Team Awe Star of Korea running out as winners.
The event, which ran over the course of three days and organised by Lenovo and Intel, attracted a huge crowd as victors Team Awe Star took home $7,000 and another prize of $5,000 worth of Legion Y530 notebooks. Meanwhile, Runners-up Team Diamond took home $3,000, whilst Team Mega Esports won the prize of $2,000. Philippines-based Team ArkAngel finished in fifth place and accumulated a cash prize of $900.
