The OCE Open Series presents a platform in which players of different status and ability can compete in the battle royale competitive scene. Taking place over the course of a five-week period, the series offers both professional and semi-professional teams, as well as Grass-Roots squads the opportunity to engage in battle for a share of the $15,000 prize pool.
The series, provided by Throwdown Esports, will be joined by another event running this weekend in the form of Throwdown’s Premier Rocket League season. This particular competition will grant Oceania players the chance to represent their region ahead of the Rocket League Championship Series, which has a record-breaking prize pool of $1,000,000 on offer to those competing.
