It’s getting to crunch time in the UKLC, as one team qualifies for the EU Masters, whilst others battled it out for a place in the play-offs. It was Diabolus who once again defended their spot at the top of the tower following a victory in the tower challenge against Excel, thereby cementing their place in the EU Masters and remaining top of the league. Meanwhile, Fnatic Rising, Excel and MnM Gaming and will duke it out for seeding next week.
Down at the other end of the league, a battle of a different sort will be taking place, as four other teams sit with the threat of the promotion league hanging over them. DarkSpawn, who were defeated by Phelan Gaming, remain rooted to the bottom of the table, with Bulldog Esports and Barrage just ahead on two and three points respectively, whilst Phelan Gaming sit fourth bottom with three points.
With all that in mind, next week in the UKLC is looking to be the most crucial and hotly contested week so far, with pivotal matches at both ends of the table. DarkSpawn Gaming will begin their fight for survival against MnM Gaming, whilst there’s also the tower rematch between Excel and Diabolus to savour.
